KOICA Seeks ‘KOICA Coordinators’ for Development Cooperation in 36 Countries

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is recruiting talented individuals to promote global social value and contribute to development cooperation.

The 2025 KOICA Coordinator Program aims to train professional development cooperation personnel through work assignments at KOICA overseas offices. Participants will serve for up to 23 months in one of 36 countries. The breakdown includes:

  • Asia: 41 positions in 13 countries, including Nepal,
  • Africa: 26 positions in 12 countries, including Ghana,
  • Latin America: 17 positions in 7 countries, including Guatemala,
  • Middle East and CIS: 10 positions in 4 countries, including Jordan.

The coordinators will support various tasks such as KOICA’s country-specific projects, global training programs, human resource development initiatives, innovative development projects, and civil society cooperation. These roles aim to enhance the effectiveness and outcomes of Korea’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) initiatives.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Availability to begin assignments at overseas offices after June 2025,
  • At least one year of experience in international development cooperation,
  • A valid language proficiency certificate, such as TOEIC (750+), TOEIC Speaking (IM2), OPIc (IM2), NEW TEPS (285+), or TOEFL iBT (85+).

Selection Process:
Applications will undergo a four-step selection process: document screening, aptitude test, interview, and medical examination.
