The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Creative Content Agency, and the Game Culture Foundation will hold the second 2023 Game Culture Family Camp (Camp) at Yesan Splas Resom Resort in Chungnam for two days from June 23 (Fri) to 24 (Sat).
The camp, where the whole family learns how to use games as a tool for family harmony, is for immediate families or living communities, including elementary school students, and various experiences and events such as △ Game Culture Quiz Competition △ Family Alternative e-Sports Competition △ Guardian Game Literacy Education △ Arcade Game Experience Corner are provided.
In particular, Kim Kyung-il, a psychology professor at Ajou University, and Kim Sang-kyun, a professor of business administration at Kyung Hee University, will talk about how to communicate between parents and children and how to guide them using games. The e-sports competition, in which families participate, will feature Nexon's "Kartrider: Drift" and Supercell's "Brawl Stars" matches, and a more realistic game will be played with a lively broadcast by professional gamecasters. In addition, there will be a game culture experience zone where the whole family can enjoy together, from the latest games enjoyed by children to retro games of parents' generation and various board games.
