The competition was hosted by the Overseas Korean Office and overseas Korean economic organizations, co-organized by Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, Jeonju City, Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, Maeil Economy, MBN, and Small and Medium Business Distribution Center, and sponsored by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The business performance of this competition is all-time. Jeonbuk also had a great synergy effect as it was held in connection with excellent product fairs. A total of 20,000 export consultations were conducted over three days, and a total of $630 million was tallied, and an actual export contract of $58 million (about KRW 80 billion) was signed.
Immediately after the opening on the 22nd, four companies in Jeonbuk, including PSB Bio Co., Ltd., signed export contracts worth $6 million (about 8.1 billion won) with four companies from four countries, including Mexico, signaling the success of the tournament.
On the last day of the event, a whopping $50 million contract was signed, marking the end of the event. At this competition, the corporate exhibition hall is said to have opened a new chapter in global business cooperation with overseas Koreans as a venue for global business networking in name and reality.
